We found out today that we won the bid on the house that we looked at in Rosemount! So, barring any unforeseen issues with the inspection or the financing, we’ll be moving out of 9048 Kell Circle Bloomington to 3xxx 155th St Rosemount in about a month!
We’re SO excited! There are so many things we can do with the house - just a little remodeling to make it our own. It has 4 bedrooms, an office space and .28 acres of yard! How very sweet!
We had a fire in the furnace on March 9th. Joey and I were home but we got out just fine. There were 5 fire trucks here so that was pretty exciting. Since then we’ve been living in the Grand Stay Residential Suites (hotel) in Apple Valley. Joey is actually thinking this is our new home. I never thought I’d say that eating out was getting tiresome! We’ll be moving back to the house on or about April 9th.
Joe has been looking through Edina realty to find a house to buy in Rosemount. He is seriously going to apply to be a fireman!
So Joey comes out of his room holding his monkey out in front of him by the throat shaking him ever so slightly and saying Quiet Monkey, I mean it. I told Sherri he was copying her because he said “I mean it” mostly because anytime I say something to him, I mean it the 1st time.. hahah but she doesn’t hold him by the throat or shake him, that’s all him..
So…. Joey refers to us as “guys’… he was climbing up the slide and we were at the top so he was saying “Help guys” .. hilarious.. when we got home, he says “eat now hotdog”.. more comedy..

I also think the cops have the right to pull you over if you’re breaking
the law, regardless of what color you are.
And, no, I don’t mind having my face shown on my drivers license.
I think it’s good…. And I’m proud that ‘God’ is written on my money.
I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don’t want
you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world
for the next four years.
I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me
stuff or trying to guilt me into making ‘donations’ to their cause.

Yep, he’s been pointing to his big boy bed and finally a little yesterday, but today for sure, he closed his door after being told to go take a nap. He went in and shut the door, but then he opened it a minute later just a crack to peek out and i was standing there just looking at him. He closed the door and went and got into bed and went to sleep.. We wanted him to be able to do that but now that he can, it’s kind of sad.. sorry for all the commas.. ~joe
Wow, did we ever, sherri was out of town for 5 days got back late from atlanta and we went straight up there. It was a weekend of firsts for Joey, a boat ride, caught a fish with daddy and stayed awake til 10:30 at night. The weather had been in the 90’s for 10 days, that friday it was 70 at the cabin, and all weekend, it was very strange weather and much cooler. However, too much heat and humidity would have made the trip a disaster.
Today using the “color octopus” Joey was pushing the color and then saying the name of the color.. It’s one of the new things he’s picked up..
So in Joey’s “big” book there is a whale, and on the whale page are 2 small fishes, so he points at one and says that (which means what is that) and i say fish, he then points at other fish on the page and says “that” and i say fish.. then then says “2″..
He then counts them 1,2…
Good times..
We’ve been working with joey so that he doesn’t get upset when Mommy or Daddy isn’t around, so we’ve been using the word “Soon” when he asks for the person that isn’t there.. Tonight he was on his truck and was leaving the room saying “bye, See you soon” it was hilarious.
